ABOUT THE BAND
MidweekSax is a saxophone choir that meets to rehearse on a Tuesday evening at St Luke's Church drop-in centre, Chorley Old Road, Bolton, from 8pm-9.30pm.
We have alto, tenor, baritone and soprano parts accompanied by our excellent drummer.
We play all sorts of music, from Bach to Gershwin, to the Muppets Medley.
We can be booked to play at local venues by contacting our Band Leader Paul Jordan.
We have played regularly at Bank Top Summer Fair, Smithills Hall Summer Fair,
and the Astley Bridge Christmas Lights switch-on.
We have also played at the Olymic Torch Fanfare in June 2012 and the Fireman's Great Balls of Fire event at the Albert Halls in Bolton.
